Chris will take you on a trip through the many natural arches in Arches National Park, explore the canyons and spires in Canyonlands National Park in addition to a visit to the awesome Dead Horse Point State Park. Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most visited national parks in the country. With majestic peaks in every direction, wildlife roaming the valleys and some of the most incredible outdoor adventures on the planet, it is no wonder more than three million people flock to the park each year. Take a drive with Chris over Trail Ridge Road – the highest continuous paved road in America – and enjoy many other adventures in this awe-inspiring national park.

Imagine rugged mountaintops scraping the skyline while enormous glaciers cling to their precipices. Of the thousands of national parks scattered around the world today, Banff, created in 1885, is the third oldest and Canada’s first, while adjacent Jasper was only 22 years behind. Ride with Chris and Ali as they explore the fantastic Canadian Rockies between Banff and Jasper along the Icefields Parkway in Alberta, Canada. The views are breathtaking!

Few places on earth are as magnificent and pristine as Glacier. Protected in 1910 during the first flowering of the American conservationist movement, Glacier ranks with Yellowstone, Yosemite and the Grand Canyon among the United States’ most astounding natural wonders. Yellowstone National Park is the wild, free-flowing, beating heart of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Its real showstoppers are the geysers and hot springs – nature’s crowd-pleasers – but at every turn this land of fire and brimstone breathes, belches and bubbles like a giant kettle on the boil. And amongst them lies the country’s largest collection of elk, the continent’s oldest, largest wild bison herds and a pristine wilderness roamed by wolves, grizzlies, moose and antelope.

The United States National Monuments are part of the United States National Park System. Unlike our National Parks, they can be created by presidential proclamation without an act of Congress. And while they may be a step down from the National Parks in general, they are still spectacular and fascinating pieces of natural scenery and national history; many of these places could be the highlight of a major trip or could be worth a whole trip on their own.

The only national park in all of New England, Acadia offers unrivaled coastal beauty and activities for both leisurely hikers and adrenaline junkies. The park, which incorporates both coastline and mountains, protects a remarkably diverse landscape.
